My dad loved photography, which started my fascination. He would come back from hunting trips with disposable cameras that had leftover frames. He let me use them up before he dropped them off to be developed. It was one of my favorite memories as a child, going and picking up the pictures with my dad and seeing how they turned out. Fast forward it then moved to me getting my own disposible cameras, then my own kid friendly film camera. Polariods were the next big hit. Then digital cameras came and my heart exploded as I could see the pictures quickly. I loved the anticipation of film and still do, but my patience has not always been the best. I found a $5 digital camera from goodwill that surprisingly had amazing macro lens qualities. That is where I found a love for both macro and portrait photography. Years later when cell phones came out with cameras I started began to use my phone more so for photography. That lasted until I bought my first DSLR camera that allowed me to learn much more about photography. Now I have mirrorless and I absolutly love it! I have been doing photoshoots for fun for over a decade and as a business for almost two years. I love that photography allows you to freeze time and remember. To look back on your life, your own history documented. I love how photography makes you feel and connect. I love capturing the rawness, the organic flow, the belly laughs, the tears, the calm, the screams.
Hello, I'm Rachel!
I’m an Oregon-based photographer drawn to the moody tones and shifting light of the Pacific Northwest. The ever-changing textured skies, misty coastlines, and quiet forests continue to shape how I see and capture the world. Whether it's the cool hues of the coast or the warm contrast of the Cascades, I’m always chasing the kind of light that tells a deeper story. My work is rooted in emotion, texture, and truth — creating imagery that feels cinematic, raw, and honest. I love collaborating with people who value storytelling and want their moments captured with depth and meaning. If that sounds like you, I’d love to connect and create something meaningful together.
My creativity thrives on rainy, moody days. Rainy days are my calm and rejuvenation.
I love all things spooky. Horror movies, abandoned houses, dark & foggy forests, ghost towns, HALLOWEEN!
We're a family of musicians, which means there's always a soundtrack—whether it's instruments playing, or someone singing their heart out
I love being outdoors. The PNW has my heart and I love exploring it with my family while documenting it with photography. We love hiking and adventuring.
Meet my husband/second shooter!
Bradley —
Brad’s love for photography has grown over the years we’ve been together, inspiring him to start his own journey behind the lens. We recently invested in his first camera, and he’s been gaining hands-on experience as my second shooter. It’s been such a joy to share this creative path together!
Brad assists with micro weddings, elopements, and large events for more in-depth coverage. This helps me provide galleries with even more meaningful details from your special moments.
